Traveling to Cains next week, and looking for a car rental place to get us from Cairns to Cape Tribulation, and back again via the Daintree.
For 2 adults, 2 days.. any suggestions?

We used Avis because of a bargain on Ozbargain and while it was cheap and the car was nice it did break down . I'm not upset it broke down but I am upset nobody was answering their phones at Avis . I rang the number for break downs twice leaving messages but I never recieved even a call back ever . I ended up having to ring a local mechanic who ended up just changing a fuse . Admittedly it was a sunday afternoon but still no excuse for a car hire company .
Thanks for the replies, I was looking at either Europcar, or Avis with the free upgrade.
We wont be going past the cape this time, so just a sedan should be fine.
www.vroomvroom.com.au We just got back from the same trip. Go the 4wd if you want to go past cape because its all dirt road from there on. We def will do that nxt time as we only had a sedan. Avis was the cheapest when we compared.
