I've had a CBA NetBank saver for the past few years and remember finding instructions on to increase my interest rate via the netbank website. Anyone have any idea and care to post it? I've tried searching and haven't had any luck.
Also FTR I know the interest rate CBA gives sucks which is why I have an ING account but I still have a bit of money in my CBA account so I'd figure it would be worth getting a slightly higher interest rate in this account as long as I have some money in it.

I just type ‘Compare & switch account options’ into the 'search Netbank' box at the top of the screen & it takes me to the page where I can see what ‘Special Loyalty Offers’ there are. Not usually a great rate but still better than the basic NetBank Saver rate. It is good for 3 months - at expiry just do it again.
As mentioned above, you can ring commbank on 132221, select the relevant prompts and ask for the 'loyalty bonus' which lasts for 3 months

You use to be able to ask via the message system in netbank but that doesn’t exist anymore. Go into a branch and ask and they will give it to you. I got 2% but only lasted for a month or so. But yeh cba interest is ridiculous compared to other banks. I would just open another bank account with UBank and an ultra saver. Money is easily transferred these days and money transfers in morning are in other bank account by 7pm.
