MOD: This offer was originally listed as "Au Model", however might be overseas stock, not sourced directly from Samsung Australia, and might not have warranty from Samsung Australia.

Hi guys Phillip Di here I hope you are well.

I have started my own website phillipdi.com off the eBay store Phillipdi to break free from the eBafia and pass the fee savings onto you!

I accept payments by Paypal and BTC.

Here comes the full Australian Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-920i), band 28! Brand New in the box and 2 year warranty
https://www.phillipdi.com/product/new-unlocked-samsung-galax…
The Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-920i costs $20AUD more than the SM-920v because they are harder to find and the guys in the PRC and HK can charge what they want but if you want B28 it’s the way to go.

Here is the band list: 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,17,18,19,26 and 28
(LTE Cat6 700/800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600)
See full here https://www.frequencycheck.com/models/jO8qv/samsung-galaxy-s…

I am in negotiations for a band 28 S7 SM-930i price to offer to you guys but they aren’t giving any good prices in the market at the moment.

If you want to know the extremity’s I go to too test my phones for fakes see here

Also check out the perfect small gifts for Christmas/New Years.
Here are some Tie Clips:
If you go into a suit shop now they charge something like $15 for one of these and it’s often the same/similar, I know, I supplied a few suit shops.
Style 1 Gold & Silver – I wear one personally

$2.62 form Australia - I wear one personally

Another Gift is the “old man” Safety Razor kid with 10pcs platinum blades, I have used it personally since 2013 when a friend asked me to get him one.

It uses Dorco blades which make 2/3 of dollar shave clubs blades and they only cost 10 cents each.

This is a good option for sensitive skin as it only has one blade so you get much less razor burn but you can cut yourself on these if your not careful (it was named the safety razor in another time haha). There are many other blade options too you don’t have to stick with Dorco, if you have thick hair BIC Chrome Platinum are perfect, Dorco are just stock and work for most people.

Sent from Australia it takes 5-7 days
Pro tip! When paying with Paypal never use their currency converter! Its bad! REALLY Bad! Its much better get a 3% international transaction fee (which Citibank and Macquarie won’t charge) than it is to accept Paypals rates, so pay attention when your on paypals website :D

    Dual SIM?

Any deals on late model Note versions?

  • +1

This is a good deal on a still awesome mobile. Its only missing finger print authentication and thats no biggie with both PIN and PATTERN both better & IMO quicker/more secure!

    • first gen water splash proof tick. Lots of updates, so pretty current OS and cases are cheap as now too!

Perfect for a budget backup mobile for tradies or kids, where they can kill or loose and $1829 iphone X, twice a week!

    • Ohh yea, I am using the s6 now, I love the s5 but the s6's processor and RAM is great.
Samsung and Apple both need to work out some better battery's however as I use a battery pack as most people are doing now just to be safe but when we get past that hurdle I its going to be brilliant

    • +2

I thought the S6 does have a front fingerprint sensor?

      • +2

It does currently using one right now

    • You are mistaken. It has a finger print sensor on the home button. It requires a swiping motion downward.

On ozbargain, please don't use the "ebay style" of writing deal titles as it makes it messy and hard to read.

    • sorry mate, forgive me I'm mainly used to eBay, whats the "ebay" style?
Reliance on hyperlinks and html rich text you cant post here?

      • +6

Please look at our Deal Posting guidelines — Title Guidelines. Deals perform better when the title is easy to read.

on eBay we usually capitalize important notes about the item. e.g you would say "UNLOCKED" "NEW" "AUSSIE STOCK" to make sure you would get more attention over your competitors listing, but increases clutter.

No need to do that unneccesarily shouting here — this is Ozbargain and we don't shout. Deals appear in chronological fashion and they are also searchable using product tags.

          No worries, thanks for understanding

    • +3

the reason why I put - "Phill the Quality" is because that means I have personally tested/use the item

I'm showing my age and heritage, but there used to be a tv series in U.K. About Irish and Jewish tailor partnership…. their catch phrase was 'never mind the quality, feel the width'!

        • +1

@iMagoo: yes but he wants to buy the one sent from Australia, I will send it from Australia because the title is Australian but I need to work out why "Australia post" is not showing up.

You can buy it now @jamestownfx with direct from china and I will send it from Australia no problem

        • +1

          @iMagoo:
Yeah, there's 2 different items, one in China one in Australia. As per OP's description…

        • @jamestownfx: If you buy the one that Says from Australia, it will be sent from Australia by Australia post reguardless

        • +1

          @phillipdi:

Thanks. Also if you use your currency switcher tool and change it to AUD, when you proceed to PayPal it then tries to charge you the AUD figure in USDs… (effectively increasing the price).

        • +2

          @phillipdi:

I'm getting the same issue as pointed out by @jamestownfx with the currency.

I'll PM you my order number, I too would like to have the razor shipped form Aus

        • +2

@BadHorse: It will be sent from Australia if the title says Australia, don't know why the shipping won't show up but if you choose any free option you will be fine. I physically have the razor in Australia

        • +2

@phillipdi: Fantastic! I sent you a PM just in case.

          Thanks for your respose

Hi Phil, if these are the Australian models do they come with 2 year Samsung warranty?

    • +4

+1 on this. What warranty is offered? Cant see an ABN on the site either (granted its still new)

      Also price is 301.xx wth?

        • +11

No problem Phil, more to the point is the Samsung 2 year warranty valid for this phone? As in will there be any issue taking this back to them for warranty?

In fairness the Australian Consumer Law does say responsibility lies with the retailer but obviously it will be fixed by Samsung hence my question.

        • +12

Your answer is still not clear… Will Samsung Australia provide warranty for those phones?

        • +2

Apologies, I'm unable to determine if the phone you're selling come with 2-year Australian Samsung warranty?

          Thank you

        • +3

you will have your full Australian consumer law rights with Samsung

i.e. No rights whatsoever, since we are not purchasing from Samsung in Australia.

        • +4

Sorry, but absolute rubbish that nothing will go wrong after 60 days. Exact reason why people pay extra and get "AU" stock. I don't mind you selling grey imports, just don't call it Au stock.

        • +1

@abacus: mate, how are you calling it a grey import when its the SM-920i model, the AUSTRALIAN Mode? I'm not saying its AU stock meaning its stocked in Australia, I'm saying its the AU Model. I said its cheaper to get AU stock than import SM-930i's (S7's) and I'm currently looking for a decent priced S7 supplier in Australia, NOT that this phone is in Australia

        • I am assuming what the 4 paragraphs are trying to say is "no warranty"?

        • @oztite: Ahhh no. Its straight from the ACCC website mate, these are your rights period. You certainly have a warranty, read it any issues you can let me know and also take it up with the ACCC because its the same with most people

    New condition

Feels like a Gumtree description, makes it sound like they're used but look to be in new condition?!?

    • -3

Jesus. They are new. Brand new in the box.

      • +21

No, that's not my name. And with an attitude like that your business won't get very far…

        • +1

I'll keep that in mind, I did not put "new condition" a mod edited it.

        • +5

Ah, okay. That's all you had to reply with in the first place.

        • +1

I think its fairly self explanatory hes just getting a bit frustrated with the many questions, give him a break.

    • +1

It means the condition of the phone/item is New.

      • Sorry is the phone brand new or is it in new condition? Happy with either provided price is right but they are two quite different things…

        • -3

brand new in the box with a mint brand new virign condition, brand new brand new brand new. I hope that is clear. any question just ask.

  • +2

The S6 is listed to get oreo at some point.

    • Nice, do we have a specific Samsung announced date?

      • No listed date, but it will come sometime next year.

        http://lifehacker.com/heres-when-android-8-0-oreo-is-coming-…

        • +1

Ok, when it comes out I will see if we can send them out with Android Oreo 8.0, should not be too much of an issue

        • @phillipdi:

Just to clarify, are your sending the phone out with a free box of oreos? If so you should add it to the title.

        • @thisispants: I bet if I did customs would have some problem with it, no I mean when Android 8.0 Aka "Oreo" comes out I will look into sending the phone with that firmware.

        • @phillipdi:

Haha, I know. Just being an idiot! Sorry.

        • +2

@thisispants: all good mate, if it will seal the deal with you PM me, if you buy a phone I'll get you some oreos

  • there is no contact information on your site !

    • The contact page? or contact us page? You can also PM me here and I can send you my number

  • Got any good deal for an S7?

  • +7

I am not trying to neg u, but u need to be more specific on the warranty issues, Mate.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Samsung AUS warranty won't cover items of Grey Import (not intended for AUS market), or from non-authorized retailer.

You have to deal with the seller - Mr Di (Drop shop) or the original seller in CN/HK…

  • +10

Hi Phil. Quite a few of us have repetitively asked the same question . Please answer this as this is an important for a consumer to know .. Will Samsung Australia provide warranty for the phones you are selling?Kind Regards

      • +13

        you know nothing Jon Snow

      • Even if you think thats the policy they should deal with, if in practice it is not (which is the case here they will not cover an unauthorised supplier and a device that was not located stock even if it is an Australian Model) then it is your legal and moral responsibility to make that very clear.

    • +3

He is implicitly implying that the answer to your question is no

  • +3

Thanks Phil. Can you pls mention if you would issue a GSt invoice on the Au Model. Thanks

    • +1

He skipped your question because of answer is NO

  • +9

    http://www.samsung.com/au/support/warranty/

    I. Coverage and Application
    A. Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd of 3 Murray Rose Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127 ("Samsung") warrants that your Samsung product:
    • is of acceptable quality;
    • does not have a latent defect.
    B. For the purpose of this Warranty, a "Samsung product" is a product which:
    • was manufactured by or on behalf of Samsung; and
    • bears a trade mark owned or used by Samsung (generally "SAMSUNG"); and
was sold by an Authorised Reseller or Distributor of Samsung; and
    was purchased in Australia,

    • -8

Then why can you return second-hand goods mate?

      • +1

Because it was purchased from an authorised reseller in the first place

        • -1

And do they ask you for a receipt? No, they ask you for the model number, which you give them which is an Australian model number and that's it, they know its an Australian model and they know it's their responsibility.

        • @phillipdi:

They should be asking for receipts to confirm purchase date, especially for old stock sold new, ie can't go by manufacture date.

The fact that some employees don't ask for receipt does not assure us, when the policy is there.

        • -2

@thaiiy: Its not "some employees", its just a straight forward process, they know they made it, they know its their responsibility under the law, most people just read it and say they can't find the receipt and give up, their "policy" is not the law and they know that, they are a big company, this is what they do to people, but if you call them confident of your rights you won't have any issues, its just like with a second hand item purchased from Gumtree you still got your rights with the manifacturer, and its an Australian model, and if they did ask for a recipt you can give them the Paypal one, but you still got my 2 year warranty also.

  • +9

Just waiting for all the negs. How is it "brand new, Au model" and come with a 60 day warranty? My S7 just developed the purple vertical line after 3 months, took it JB and they swapped over to a brand new one on the spot. You can't say you only need a 60 day warranty. "Au stock" has a 2 year warranty.

    • +8

This is dodgy. This does not sound like stock sourced from Samsung Australia or one of their distributors. It has grey import written all over it. Buyer beware!

      • +3

I think he means that the grey import is currently sitting in Au, making it "Au stock".

        • +5

In other words Samsung Australia will not touch it if something goes wrong. He gave the impression that they should fix it…BS.

        • -1

@angers: They HAVE fixed it for me in the past, I'm not giving you the impression I'm telling you they are. How are you calling it a grey import? Its a SM-920i an AUSTRALIAN MODEL!

        • +4

Please explain why it doesn't have a 2 year warranty then.

        • +1

          @phillipdi:
It was not purchased in Australia as you dont have an ABN, it is as simple as that!

        • @abacus: Because I came from eBay and I never had this "issue" pop up, I have decided to go with a 2 year warranty on the site.

  • +1

completely agree @abacus. It should be 2 years warranty being brand new.

    • Ok, seeing as I have complete faith in my product and after my years of business I have never had a reported issue after 60 days I am will write the policy for 2 years

      • +7

Lol until I see evidence. I won't believe a word of what you are saying. Ozbargainers are much more informed than your regular consumer.

        • -6

what are you talking about? I'm talking about in my experience on selling on eBay as I still currently do, would you like me to email you my sales history perhaps? in triplicate? with a signed statement from the CEO eBay and paypal, with a video of them signing?

        • @phillipdi:

big talk in regards to experience with selling on ebay? what's so good about it? you haven't sold one of your phones via eBay either

          https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&use…

        • @jayzorz: You mean I have sold SIX and a whole stack in the past, (6 months ago when I had stock)
          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/152797644524 You know nothing Jayzorz

        • Ohh okay.. Six lol

        • @jayzorz: Six in the past few days mate, ahem, like 20 6 months ago…..

  • +9

Way to unclear about the warranty policy.

Neg Revoked. I guess the revised two year policy is only as good as long as you're in business.

I still believe Samsung Warranty is total BS. Samsung will look at me and laugh if i brought this phone in for repairs under warranty.

  • Sorry mate, selling on eBay this issue never came up, literally no one asked about the warranty because it was the stock standard ebay 60 day warranty plus your consumer rights. Given that I have never had a complaint after 60 days I will write the policy for 2 years now
