Not sure what you did for the Jetstar search, but I get $308 for those flights with Jetstar ($79+$229).
In the fine print, webjet disclose these extra charges making up the difference:

BTW, in this example, the extra cost is 11.6% more, so a marginal direct saving on those numbers. However, you'd only be able to buy $300, not the full $343.86 so it probably would be very close to the same cost.
If Webjet didn't start out being more expensive than others on avg + charge a per pax booking fee for the privilege, it could have been a worthwhile deal.

For example, $166.67 worth of travel insurance would come to ~$150
Buying a $100 & $50 card (for $135 after 10% off) should result in paying $128.25 (for the egift card) and yield $15 worth of points too.
Or am I missing something?
And then pay about 14.5% more when you use them at webjet…
