So far I've been disappointed not to see any good deals for the Garmin Vivoactive 3 over Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Chasing the slate / black version, but I don't feel like forking out nearly $500 for it
Anyone know of any good deals on at the moment, or anticipate any from particular retailers in the lead up to Xmas?

I'm not against buying from the US, but there's the wait and warranty to consider. I'm sure Garmin would support internationally?
Taking into account taxes and conversation rate, there still seems to be a ~ $100 'Straya Tax' on top of for the privilege of purchasing locally. Was hopeful Amazon's launch here would bring that down
Would anyone recommend against getting a Forerunner 235 instead? Seems to be rpetty cheap right now and have many similar features (not to mention good looks). Aside from gorilla Glass, aesthetics and Garmin Pay… What's the major differences?

I haven't been able to find more than rumour. Latest Reddit thread from November suggested they were unsure if this was a thing, and whether it would be out until sometime next year
Garmin would be required to continue providing updates for the life of the warranty I would think
