Request for Information: Setting up an Inbound Phone Call Service for a Marketing Survey

I am convinced that a certain idea will work <no further details at the moment please>, however the 2 people I talked to are not convinced of the same. I am willing to spend some money to create a survey with a targetted group of users for a short period of time. This would help me guage the actual demand for my idea.

I wanted to give approximately 300 users the option to respond to a mailbox advertisement via internet, Phone & post over 60 days period. While I am aware of ways and means to set up an internet form & Pre-Paid reply envelopes.

Can someone please help me with the cheapest way by which I can set up 1 Inbound Phone Number and have someone reply to these calls professionally. User information needs to be recorded on the web forms by the call receivers.

  I would get a VoIP provider to register a DID and set up an IVR using the DID to take the data & record it (eg, Maxotel or Telecube seem to be pretty highly rated on Whirlpool). Virtual assistants will charge a rather high rate per call answered.

    IVRs need scripting & programming. Not cheap either.

    If you're recording the responses you need transcriptions done.

  Get a 1300 number answering to a mobile SIM card mailbox with the recorded message saying your msg.
  Under $1 a call, similar cost to reply paid mail.
  If you are only expecting 100 or fewer calls, just listen and transcribe yourself.

    I Would have loved to do this myself, unfortunately since I have restricted access to accept calls during the day time when I am at work. I was looking for other means. To be honest, I would prefer internet(50%) and post (20%) to be the only mode of communication. However my target group comprises of a section of a population who may prefer to cover some details over the phone. To be honest the actual number of phone calls may be even lower than 50 out of the 300 respondents I am targetting. I can always take the radical approach and force them to use the internet to contact me and then I call them at a mutually convenient time.

  Get skype inbound call service and then use virtual assistants to answer the calls.
