One Week or So Getaway between Christmas and 10th January 2018

Hi guys,

I'm keen to just get away for a week or so, sometime after Christmas. We have family staying for Christmas and Boxing Day and then we're free.
I'm in Brisbane and I have some Qantas FF points and Avios to burn too….no too many though I think I have about 150,000 QFF points and about 55,000 Avios and while I'd like to get rid of them, it's not essential.

So, has anyone seen any deals about or have any suggestions on where to go? I don't care if it's staying in Oz, cruising , heading to Vietnam or anything in between. I know it's vague but I'm all ears (and I'm bored at work!).

    Found some flights on QF to Beijing as an option… Not much else around in terms of availability with QF.

    BNE>SYD>PEK 27/12
    80,000 points
    $424 taxes

    PEK>SYD>NE 2/1 or 8/1
    80,000
    $370 taxes

    Points and taxes are total for 2 people. Both flights available on Qantas.com

    If you're flexible, keep an eye out closer to the date as flights might become available to places like Hong Kong or Singapore

        Never been to China myself but could be worth a try.

        Tried look all over Asia, LA & Chile but couldn't find any other availability.
