Seems an OK deal?
(I pricematched with HN. Added Super Mario Odyssey for $67 and the AMEX $100 off and it's $336 for the "bundle", or $344 delivered to Inner Sydney.)
Use shipster for free delivery, apparently. I missed this, but that's OK.
I also got the grey + Mario odyssey, picked it up today and the guy wouldn’t match big w as he said they weren’t a competitor but JBHIFI was.
Told him yes they are and he replies no there not cause they don’t sell the things we do, LOL!
Didn’t wanna argue cause he was so up himself and just went online and spoke to a wonderful lady and she agreed to give me the difference in a e-gift card or refund, I chose the e-gift card.
Will be getting the e-gift card tomorrow.

Edit: well wouldn't you believe it, tried again via online chat and got some guy from the visual/audio dept. First of all he refused saying it falls under a "limited quantity" clause in the price match agreement. Calling bullshit and after I mentioned my work colleague (that's you mate) just got a refund 20mins ago, he changed his mind and agreed to the $30 e-card. Stoked!

Hope you saved the live chat, I got it emailed to me and asked the lady to give me the reference number for the gift card.

My daughters were driving me insane, and insisted that I buy them the switch yesterday. I tried to price match it at big w for $399 (jBS price on Friday) but he refused! So I paid full price for it… $449!!!
There was absolutely no mention that it was $369! How can that be? Plus, I bought the neon as well!! WTF??
Maybe the $369 was store specific/online only? There's a screenshot on page 2 of Big W having the price at $369 - save that, go in-store and ask them to refund you, or return the product.
To be fair I went into store yesterday and they refuse to match their online price. Stated online stores are different even tho they are same company, all stores are corporate and it was in their own website.
For anyone who bought the switch for $399 last black Friday, I chatted online with HN and asked them to price match (I asked really nicely) Big W's $369 offer - and they said even though the promo is no longer available they'll do it for me. Awesome customer service if you ask me :) Using the AMEX deal got a switch for $269! :D
Can you still get AMEX cash back if it's below $400 as HN refunds the $30 difference?
i believe you have to pick up $30 more of stuff at HN to re-qualify or just ask for them to issue you a gift card for this amount instead of a credit card refund
Same - asked really nicely this morning and was promised a $30 gift card as a refund yaaaay (even though the BIG W deal is no longer there)!
No luck for myself, they did offer a $20 difference from the current advertised prices however (459-479).
I do not think this will go through as they were not away I bought it for $399 with the JB HiFi pricematch.
Sigh.

Ah darn was out of town this weekend and missed out. I hope they do something similar again before Christmas. If anyone managed to obtain a price match with Big W for Harvey Norman via online chat and by any chance not wanting to purchase please let me know - would be much appreciated.

Anyone got their e-gift card yet?
Nah, I did speak to live chat and they advised it should be tomorrow as they have to manually process them individually and there was over 150 that needed to be done.
UPDATE: Spoke to live chat and they have advised by the end of the week as there are so many gift cards to be processed!
But got confirmation via transcript about the gift card amount.

I chatted to them today and they had a screw up on their end and had no logs of our chats saying the $30 gift card so they have processed a refund just now and i got the email.
Got the e-giftcard email about 1.5 hours ago.

I got an email last week saying it's in transit but it didn't come with a tracking ID. Can't even find it on the site.
Mine shipped today - said that standard shipping could take 5-7 days on the site iirc, so will see.. Hopefully metro Sydney will be faster!

I ordered some games (which just arrived) after placing the Switch order on BigW… if BigW cancel my order I'll be seriously pissed, I'm already less than impressed at their processing time… do they just have an old lady with trifocals working there?

@raybies: They claim there was a mismatch between the website and warehouse database and they were out of stock. This is BS as the next day it was back in stock (and still is).

I had a screenshot of the Big W website while it was on sale, walked into EB Games today and price matched. Only reason I went to EB is due to the fact I had a Gift Card for $150.
