Does anyone know of any shipping services available for shipping back home?
We're in Shinjuku but are leaving Monday morning so won't have time to get to the post office :(
I think it'll be around 5kg and quite bulky

Ask your hotel concierge, they are usually very helpful and may arrange the postage for you.
Reckon you are stuck with excess baggage charge
Tokyo has some pretty crazy out of hour Japan Post offices at a few select locations.
Excess baggage and wear a heap of your clothes on the plane.
Found a post office thats open 9-9 everyday in Shinjuku. Thanks everyone
There is a post office at Narita airport but no idea how much it would cost.
