  • This doesn't appear to be a bargain. Obviously, the "value" of a bottle of wine is very subjective.

I'm not sure of the shipping costs, because I can't click through the link… but lets say $15 + $42 for the product, that's nearly $10 per bottle. …

If the original poster had included some additional info to demonstrate that this is a bargain (e.g. links to Dan murphy's catalogue, showing retail price of $15 or $20 per bottle) then I could say that this is a good deal for sure. But without any benchmarks or knowledge of this wine, who knows? it could be very average quality.

    • How can you say "This doesn't appear to be a bargain" and then admit you know nothing about it? Still, you make a fair point that I don't give any explanation of the quality of this wine.

Put it this way, Graysonline will deliver it to my suburb for $10, meaning each bottle costs me $8.67 (including delivery). I couldn't find it for any cheaper than $10 per bottle + delivery.

Will swing by Dan Murphy's later on out of curiosity as to how much it costs there.

      • Perhaps you are right, I will take that back.

    • Grays do pad the shipping. They want $30 to ship a dozen, when I normally pay less than $10/doz delivery from more reputable sellers. Adds up to normal discount price for a NZ chardy. bargain??
