yeah i bet there are some people who arent aware samsung has their own o/s for their watch (maybe not all samsung watch using tizen, i am not sure).
do more research. i have someone at work who regretted buying into tizen.
if you like s3 maybe check huawei watch 2. there was a deal posted for AUD 250 only from amazon.
dont worry so much about local/grey stock. this things usually works without issues. take a gamble once for a while is fine.
Tizen works with any android phone or iphone, no reason you have to use it with a samsung phone. also has a lot more apps than android wear, and the S3 is a better smartwatch than any of the android wear ones

do you know if galaxy gear 1 the original will works with non samsung? it has tizen.Think it might just be the s2 and newer which use the Gear s app to connect to phone
Get the Samsung Gear SPort if you want a more fitness and smaller watch. The Gear S3 did not fit my preferences so i bought the Gear Sport. Plus the Gear Sport was only released a few weeks ago.

but normally newly release gadget will be bad choice to get as they mark them up high to cover marketing and research costs.
for me when something new come that is the best time to buy previous gen/model.
dont get fooled by those evil corporations to get their latest gadgets at highest priceI did my research, but the lap swimming tracking and 5ATM water resistant on the Gear SPort and the fitness features make me prefer it over the Gear SPort S3

Funny, Samsung's US site participated in Black Friday deals discounting products across the online Samsung store. Australia? NOTHING.

havnt tried yet but i am pretty sure you can get from officeworks for $337.25 with pricematch from eglobaldigitlecameras witch is $355 and you get 5%off that.
Don't think OW pricematches grey imports unless you get someone ill informed.
Australian stock is the same as international anyway with this watch for some reason and both sites have the same model number so it shouldn't matter.
There is no way Officeworks will price match a grey import from a random website.

International is just R770N

for frontier it's SM-R760NDAAXSAInternational model might not be compatible with Samsung pay in Australia, otherwise they're the same.
Just ordered an S3 frontier from Samsung. The price is down to $499. Minus the ANZ Samsung pay voucher ($240) the total I spent was $259 :D
Nice one, although what is this ANZ Samsung Pay Voucher? Am i still able to get my hands on one?
Unfortunately not. This was a promotion they ran a couple of months ago. Anyone who used an ANZ card with Samsung pay for a couple of times got a $240 voucher towards S8, S8+, or Gear S3 from the Samsung store. Vouchers expire 9th Jan IIRC. There may be people who have the voucher and didn't want to redeem it.
