For the past couple years Ive been using a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge a38a11. Ive come to really like it. My current one is dying. I cant seem to find a place to buy from. I was hoping someone could share some information on where I can buy it, or if its been discontinued.

Is that the ThinkPad Edge E420s?
If so that's pretty outdated / not available and there are much better and nicer laptops to choose from nowadays.
It was a average to good, but not great, laptop at the time but nowadays you would have to spend $700~900 to get a modern ultrabook.
For extremely tight budgets under $400 you could consider a refurbished Dell Latitude or Thinkpad T series.
