24/7 Roadside Assistance: RACQ Vs Others

Hello everyone,

I am QLD based and got 24/7 Roadside assistance with RACQ for 95/year.
I am driving 2008 Toyota Corolla, Odometer 160k, approx 12K KMs per year.
Just used RACQ to change battery and flat tire this year.
My policy is up for renewal. Being an ozbargainer, I tried negotiating RACQ for a better deal.
Asked them to match https://www.roadsideassistance-1.com.au/ i.e. 55/year.
They didn't budge from regular $95 and tried to tell me RACQ Rewards like cheap movie tickets etc.
In the end, they agree to give $10 discount making it $85.
Do you think it's worth sticking with RACQ or switch to https://www.roadsideassistance-1.com.au
Any other suggestions apart from these two?

    change ctp to racq for another 10 off ?

    switch home insurance + car insurance + … another insurance, for multi discount

      Car & Home Insurance with AAMI. Way cheaper than RACQ.
      I tried getting it in one package but RACQ won't match AAMI :(

        the website 247services website dodgy ass, old website is 247services then now rename to roadsideassistance-1

        i thought aami give free roadside if you have comprehensive car ins. with them ? or you only got 3rd party ?

        also, your 2008 corolla not sure if over 10yrs old

        that 247services doesn't do car over 10yrs old

    These are practically bullet-proof. The battery and tyres are aftermarket so they don't count.

    Youi comprehensive insurance includes roadside assistance (2 free callouts a year) - Some people hate on them, but 5 years and 4 claims without a problem for me.
