Could I run a 3.5mm from the Switch to this?
For some reason I can't do that with my current set of infinity speakers (old pair) that use an RCA - 3.5mm. I can't pass through the sound from my monitor to those speakers for it either!

Yes you can, 3.5mm Jack
If you connect it to a light switch it mightn't smell very good. If you connect it to an ethernet switch though you can listen to your downloads and it will smell better.
They have a 3.5mm (aux) output and input as well on the right satellite speaker. The main input cable that plugs in on the back of the subwoofer is also a 3-pole 3.5mm cable.
