anyone get one? No problems seeing it and loading it, but beyond that its hopeless. Can't complain too much cos I got the PS3 last time so I know it does very occasionally work

And I swear either they've downgraded their server without telling anyone or they have had an exponential growth in viewers in the past 6 months, I can still remember the day when I could open multiple pages in 10 seconds and that was on the OLD server and supposedly slower server!Awesome… 38mins after the item goes up I manage to load the page…. signing in that's another story altogether.

These guys are idiots.
Instead of insisting on running these crash of the day "promotions", they should just randomly post up the 10 or so of each thing they have at a random time without warning, so that their loyal customers (if there is such a thing) get the good deals.
By the time those people post the deal on facebook or here, they will have all gone to those people (who really deserve them). So they still get free word of mouth advertising, and maybe they will get more people logging on at normal times, which should be the goal of any "promotion".
By advertising it like they are, and their site crashing like it does, many people are simply turned off, possibly for good.
but your way won't get them the sheer numbers required for the number one site in aus

oddly enough when that deal started the servers were going great, I got the furtherest "the checkout" and then it died again.
