Used to have Qantas Gold card back in years ago which is now called Qantas Rewards Premium card (NAB).

We have stick with this Qantas gold card for years as you expect because of the goodness of amex offers and related deals with it. As we now aware bank issue amex card is about to phase out and formally received NAB letter the AMEX facilities will be shut on 21/2/18. For most people I believe this is now a pretty much little value keeping it (I think). card left with only visa facilities.
The current annual fees of $139.50 which did not change from the past when having this card but now the annual fees of $250 which is surely a rip off.
On the urge of thinking closing this card out as we about to finish amex shopsmall and remember an annual fee is kicks in early december. The Qantas premium card currently have extended warranty, free oversea travel insurances, purchase protection insurance, interstate flight inconvience insurance etc etc (see above link for benefits)
Really the phase out of amex just sad as this is use to be the main reason maintain the card even paid for the annual fee $139.50. Don't know why bank doing this for good anyway… Just want to see if anyone have idea it is worth to keep this NAB Qantas Rewards Premium card now?
I have same card. Will be changing it to an alternative NAB card as soon as all direct debits are changed. It is no longer good value.
