Hey Ozbargainers, I have been discovering moths in my clothes when I bring them in from drying on the balcony. I didn't notice the moths until after I have taken the clothes in and started folding them. They suddenly flew out while I was folding and in the most recent incident, I couldn't locate the moths that had made it into my apartment. I live in the CBD and never had this problem before, now am lost on how to prevent it from happening again. Since summer is coming, I would expect more moths appearing. Is there anything to deal with this other than thoroughly checking my laundry before taking them in? Is there any moth repellant I can place on my balcony and home? Also, what can I do to get rid of the 'missing' moths in the apartment that are hiding somewhere? Help :(

Thanks a lot! Bought some tea tree oil today from chemist warehouse, hopefully that will keep the moths away
Great! Hope it works well for you 😊

How hard could that possibly be?
Prevention.
No need to be meanThat wasn't remotely mean… but the point is, give everything a shake before you chuck it into the basket is all you really need to do.

If you only knew how many other guests were "hiding" in your apartment.
Just think of them as emo butterflies
Between angels and insects
I had the same problem.
Would bring washing in and would find a month every week or so.
This went on for 6 months.
And hasn't happened for the 12 months.
I put it down to a once off and seasonal thing.
I wish I could find a month every week or so. Would gain so much time!
Enlist some moth eating spiders to track moths down
And when you have too many spiders, you can get tree snakes to eat the spiders.
And when you have too many snakes, you can get mongooses to eat the snakes.
