Why would they refund you the purchase price when it was damaged by other people? The best you'd be entitled to is a discount on the repair price.
Stop being unreasonable.
lol, another classic thread.
OzB is the new Whirlpool
You got an insurance payout before and now want a refund from the store for both the purchase price and the repair price after the removalists damage it??
how do you even have the nerve to ask such a question here? lol
If I was to continue with what I really think, my comment would become comment unpublished - personal attack!
lol mate
OP if you were to post a bargain here what do you think that may be?
Is it fair for me to get a refund for both the original price and the cost of repair
You can't have your cake and eat it.
Is it fair for me to get a refund for both the original price and the cost of repair?
NO… The ACCC laws don't apply. Your item was in perfect working order, it was damaged by others. Not their fault. Why should they refind you?
Plus you have already been paid out on the dresser by the movers who first damaged it. Being greedy as hell anit you?
The ACCC doesn't deal with individual cases like yours. They exist to enforce compeition and other laws and provide consumers guidance on their rights
Is it fair for me to get a refund for both the original price and the cost of repair?
Hahaha, OP you're pathetic. Your words, not mine. I would use stronger words.
5 month old to Repair a 5yr Old Dresser. That's a clever 5 month old!
Starting them young nowdays.
just a stab in the dark OP. I think the answer is E
a full refund on a dresser that's five years old. that's an unreasonable request. consumers guarantees doesn't cover a lifetime.
