The title is misleading, you need to make a purchase. You cannot get a free burger by just filling out the survey.
Put any number in 3 times and you can proceed still.
Mash start 10 times fast and it'll let you do the survey without putting anything in lol.
Supposed to write the number on the receipt at the end, but they never care in our HJ…. Same as they never bother with the code from the shake to win app, just hand over the goods.
@Pobman: Well it depends. Been at HJs multiple times and they did type it in for a couple of minutes. Even asked me twice if a 7 is a 7.
I don't need to make a purchase as such, I need to go in store to redeem it though.
Also, just raid someone else's HJ receipt the first time, then use yours from then on.just raid someone else's HJ receipt

The receipt requires a purchase, otherwise it can't be printed.
Otherwise, you can just post any deal as a free deal and just say 'mum & dad' paid for it and you got it free…
@jv: If you are meaning that it requires a purchase to get a receipt, I can say at a busy CBD restaurant it just comes up as a free burger with $0 to pay, but you still get a receipt for order number. Funnily enough, I redeemed this and a free coffee and got 2 seperate receipts = 2 burgers, don't know why she didn't just put it under one like below though.

I don't care for the bbq cheeseburger, I wish they would offer an alternative.
I never used to like the BBQ cheeseburger but I guess mere exposure forms more positive attitudes.
The amount of sauce on there though requires you either to slurp it up or get it everywhere though…
Misleading title. Its not free for doing the survey. You have to purchase something first.
But when I tell people at work about my HJ experience, it's 'unacceptable behaviour'…

This has ended now. My receipts from the last few days have only offered a free drink and chips when I buy a Whopper.

Yeah I just went into a store yesterday with my old receipt, and they've told me that they have changed it to a free chips and drink when you buy a whopper now. Couldn't use my old receipts anymore. :(
