Hi Movieman - Alot of people in the office actually use these. The main points are that people load a whole bunch of photos on there and then it continually changes. These can be left on around the clock and the photo will continuously change. They are great if you put them in common areas within your house in replacement of the old standard photo frames.
The Sony store at Robina had a similar one (DPFD72NBQ) with a small pattern of crystals about 2 months ago for $77. Was going to buy it for my niece for xmas but wanted to research a bit and not waste warranty. Should have bought it. Hoping to find it cheap somewhere soon.
Hi Elyxar - I actually remember the exact model that you are talking about, we had them at $77 as a special as well. Unfortunately this was a limited edition model and they have since sold out.
Are they available in any other colours or only black?
Unfortunately these are only in Black - There was a model a little while ago that you could change the face plate but resolution was much lower.

Hello. It doesn't state anywhere that it some a specific mode, but I asked one of my stores to check the kind of 'Slideshow Patters' that were available. They told me it has a 'Multi-Image View' Mode which essentially should do the same thing that you originally saw with the iPad.

$77 is a good price, but i can't find anyone selling it for $149, so i don't see how you can claim this is the USUAL price ???
