Just returned from a shop-around for a Air conditioner.
Found that Home HQ good guys are having a 'CARPARK' sale this weekend. Wanted to get the portable aircon that was on the brochure for around $650, actually was on special for $458. Lots of other 'sale' items there as well. Worth checking out if you have time.
Not sure if really a bargain to submit them as a deal.
Also went to Origin energy shop nearby, and found out lots of appliances that are sale. Heaps of ranghoods for $50!!!! (one example discounted from $500+) (no returns, but honouring the normal warranty). They are meant to be 'floorstocks' but still a bargain!
