No demand in China for these?

    • Wrong brands

Only certain brands. Home brands are always full stock.
There is no powder shortage, just low supply of the brands people think are best.

      • IIRC, its down to where they're made. Made in AU is the stuff that is in demand. A lot are made in NZ but NZ has rather lax (comparatively to us) country of origin laws so a lot of overseas produce goes into "Made in NZ" products. I believe their laws are changing (or have changed already?) though

    • mainly A2M and Aptamil

  • You posted to the wrong site OP. This is the correct site: http://www.daigousales.com/

I am Chinese and I still find these comments funny 😄

  • Is formula of these brands bad quality? Why there is no OZ buying it? And obviously, its not a baby formula crisis with chinese buyer. Its about A2 crisis.

      China is the cheap product

  • Edit: Read above…..

  • S26 formula stinks

    • not compared to Alfamino!

  • Maybe they can use it to cut A2M with?

Inb4 bans on Chinese buying baby formula.

  • Genuine question though aside from "specialist" ones apparently for certain allergies, is there any other common reason why local parents can't use these other brands if their baby has no known allergies and what not?

(And yes, I hate this daigou asian buy out as much as the next person)

    • I hate all Asians are banded together in this because Chinese people are buying them all. Screw China

    • Parents here want the brands for the same reason the Chinese parents do, perception that they are best and most desirable.

The Daigou have already shown they can turn the tide on a brands popularity overnight and bankrupt a company when Chinese don't want it anymore.

The only reason they don't keep the shelves full is that it sells better when perceived to be a precious commodity, plus they are afraid to commit to more production because China might switch to another brand.

  • This is the place to shop when you can't find the formula
Surprised this Coles is still open as it's so dead

  • I'm buying all of this for China

  • My son loves the Aldi formula and thankfully the Chinese turn their nose up at it. I know someone whose child only likes the A2 stuff and it is a constant struggle for them to find any.
