No new treadmill deal is worth it.
Buy a 2nd hand treadmill that somebody else bought but didn't use. (Not one that a keen runner used daily).
Ensure it has at least a 2HP motor.
You want some cushioning on it too.
Stick to decent brands.. A little research yourself wouldn't hurt ;)
Avoid…
no coz you wont end up using it
Whats wrong with the footpath? It's free to use and won't take up space in your house.
I only get a chance to exercise at night and I don't feel safe running in the dark, especially as I like to run with headphones on.
Well then you'll run faster and wont need a personal trainer for that occasional intense push.
Footpath is free.
Treadmills are a nice thing to have.
12kph is not a full run and automatic incline would be nice.
It also looks a little less than solid.
I paid far more than that for mine, but I generally only ever get to 10 km/h, rarely 12. Mine is very solid, that one doesn’t look very solid at all. However, as an entry level treadmill, probably not a bad price unless it’s total rubbish. I never rely on the machine readings though, they’re an estimate for calories/heart rate etc.
Looks nasty, find a good brand one on Gumtree for next to nothing
