Although the they do look similar they are completely different machines. (notice the extra buttons on the GG's version)
Sizing, noise levels and efficiency are all different. What doesn't help is that stores intentionally have 'exclusive' product which make it hard to compare between stores.
Good deal with combine coupon + store credit. However, your last sentence is misleading, actual money spent as per your scenario are $614 (+ $50 store credit) and $635 (+ $100 store credit) respectively. Unless store person is ok to deduct store credit on spot.
We are using this for the past 1 year this has been an excellent choice it is a good allrounder in electricity usage water usage and cleaning I recommend using good quality dish washer tabs.
How come they are both Series 6 free-standing but this one is currently on sale at Harvey Norman for $1199
