Hello,
I need to get 12 mobile phone to send to disadvantaged people overseas. They range in age from 15- 65. What would be a mid range quality phone that wont break the bank? Has to be unlocked too.

mei82 Thanks will check out the nokias for sure.
Would help if you gave an estimate of your price range.
Considering how often my young relatives upgrade phones for no apparent reason other than they are new and sparkley, perhaps you could get some donated ones that are sitting in a draw collecting dust?
Perhaps this one:

Looks like you can pick them up from their store in downtown Sydney.
Just a thought - will you not need EU to AU plugs if they're going to be used overseas?
Which country are you sending them to? You might find it cheaper to strike up a deal with a local supplier there! ;)
Stewballs No i cant actually find a supplier there cos no contacts as such there. Just easier to buy it from here.
Fair enough! In that case, I'd definitely be looking for the specials on unlocked phones from HN, DSE, Coles/Woolies, Kmart/BigW and Aust Post! ;)
I'd also be leaning toward Nokia, purely because they might not be as flash, but they're usually rock solid reliable; plus accessories & spares can almost be located on any street corner! :)
Don't forget to take note of inherentchoice's sage advice on adapters; these folks are gonna have to charge these phones somehow! ;)
Definitely a Nokia as Stew suggested, they are the most reliable of the older style phones.
nokia 6120c
