It's coming up for me as 159 USD?

    same here. 159 USD.

Email promotions require the full UTM parameters.

If you try to put the link into Ozbargain's deal submission field, Ozbargain system will trim out the UTM part and the deal won't work.
You'll need to put the link into description

    • Cheers for that. Updated description with correct link.

  • How does this compare to the rx 560?

Cheapest (AU stock) is $183.20 shipped using the PREZZIE code for this listing which gets you much faster and more reliable shipping, a full 2-year warranty and an okay brand. Worth the extra $27 IMO.

Also doesn't require an external 6-pin PCIe power connector.

  • Worth upgrading over the gtx950??

    • +1

the 1050ti is like a gtx 960 so I would say no. When you upgrade you want to upgrade a couple of levels up, so to 1060 the minimum. A second hand 1060 can be bough for 200 AUD with warranty (I sold one a couple of weeks back). That is probably the minimum upgrade you should be looking at.

The GPU prices came down already, I would wait especially because there is a chance the 470/480/570/580 might be sold by miners soon.

      • Where did you sell it on? Still trying to work out where second hand pc parts get sold on around here.

Not worth risking frying the rest of your PC.

  • What does '6 Pin power interface' mean. Do i require extra cabling to install this on my mobo?
    thanks

if you need to ask this, you probably aren't ready to attempt any upgrades in your PC.

this requires a 6 pin PCI-e cable, unlike some other 1050tis on the market.

If no-one was ever willing to ask questions or do research then there would be no DIY community.

        • Yes it does make use of a 6 pin power connector. Kinda defeats one of the advantages of this GPU (IE good performance from just PCIE power), but I guess you could get better OC results from the extra supply.

      • I opened up my case and saw where the 6 pin interface is you rude bastard.

        • So you're saying you didn't need to ask the question in the first place?

I do note that my comment actually answered your question, so you're welcome for that, you "rude bastard" :)

there will be a 6pin on the card, that you need to ensure your PSU has a cable for.

    • It usually means that the card will need more power than the PCIE slot on the motherboard can supply. Your power supply will more than likely have a bunch of unused cables on it, so just plug a 6 pin cable into the connector on the card.

  • Anyone has been using this card previously? Any difference between this one and any other major brand products?

    Thx
