  • Anyone know how good the mirabella LED bulbs are? We have issue at home with cheap bulbs affecting digital tv

    • Eh they aren't bad. They are kind of only like 1 step above Coles/Woolies for me though.

Every single one I have bought started flickering. They have all been thrown out over 18 months. Waste of money.

      • I experienced the same too..

Define flickering? Are you using the downlight or standard ac globes?

We tried using some Phillips LED downlights but the power consumption was too low for the minimum power draw for the transformer, so it flickered. Had to swap to the Phillips master series for backwards compatibility.

Honestly I'd buy globes from Phillips or osram. Bunnings have 3-4 packs for $15, and they have much better lumen/watt ratings compared to the coles/woollies and mirabella

        • @DangerNoodle:

240v replacing old globes. No dimming. Fine for a while and then they starting turning on and off every few seconds. Worst brand of led globes I have tried. I bought about 10 at big w when they were 50% off. They are now all in landfill.

ex antenna installer here. You probably have an issue with poor signal from your antenna and when you turn on the lights they are providing just enough interference to affect the picture.

      • i think they meant the LED bulbs started to flickering

        • I don't, it is common for led globes to interfere with signals such as tv, wifi, RF etc.

  • Has anyone had any experience with the stonewell pans?

      Overpriced hyped up tv stock

      I’d only buy at 50%

Sucuumed to backlash and decided to call a Christmas tree for what it is…priceless

  • in store only

  • Don't see any discounts on the nappies in store now

    • Starts tomorrow?

      • It says Saturday…

        • Discounts not mentioned in store when I was in there around 9am, but they rung up at the right price. Had to drop in again later and saw many of them mentioned (QV Melbourne).

        • @elyobo: Nappy sale is actually in the catalogue and started on Thursday. Went on friday and grabbed 2 packs.
Only just starting toilet training the little one, this about the best price for the pull ups?

  • Ok will avoid the leds and stick with Phillips as I don’t have any issues with those

    • I agree…the only Mirabella one I like is the PAR38 LED - 13 watts gets around 1300 lumens. It's a nice warm white, I don't like cool white which a lot of PAR38 globes come in.

I used one in my outdoor patio lamp, and also put two in my bathroom heater lamps to replace the heater globes. I don't use the heater globes, but I really like a bright bathroom. You end up with that warm white glow as if it were heat lamps but without chewing the power.

  • Tree looks decent for a fake, I'm in.
