  Has anyone got the Soundcore 2? How does it perform? Is the loudness relatively close to the advertised 12W?

    I've got one but I'm far from an audiophile. It's good for pop/rock but it's a it too hollow for hiphop for my liking. I definitely prefer it over my logitech x50. No idea what 12W sounds like but it fills a room easy enough.

    Can't help with any of your questions, but just some advice on power.
    Watts cannot be translated into SPL (volume).
    The loudness of a device depends on power + speaker efficiency.
    So it's quite possible for low power + highly efficient speakers to beat high powered low efficiency speakers.
    Bit geeky but hope it helps with understanding these things.

  FYI - Bought Soundcore 2 last time ——- underwhelmed with quality of sound. Distortion unusable above 50%.

  If you can fit it under your budget, I'd suggest the SoundCore Boost which is also part of this sale for $US69.99 (currently ~$AU91.40, less if using mobile app, seller coupon and Cashrewards).

  It's a class above the SoundCore/SoundCore 2, and compares favourably with the UE Boom 2 and JBL Flip 4.
