I have ordered an "Ultra thin" TPU case for $1 for my S8 not too long ago. I cannot say for sure this is the exact same product (looks exactly the same), but if it is, don't waste your money (I know it's only $0.20, but still). It was quite thick, and made the tiny fingerprint sensor very hard to use, as you had to jam your finger into the gap (the case had elevated edges around the cutouts). Also, from experience, these things turn nasty yellow very quickly.
I then bought one of these instead for $3.20, which is absolutely great. It is much thinner, fits snugly, and looks fantastic.

Sorry Clear. It's a bargain, but it makes an awesomely designed phone look pretty crap and hard to use.

    • I purchased a Ringke brand case from a kiosk in nearby shopping centre and I have the same issue, case is too thick to use fingerprint sensor effectively.

Thanks for the link, purchased 1 x clear and 1 x white < $4 delivered.

    • ye i did the same…i was quite happy with that $1 case actually. My only issue was it didnt raise at hte top and bottom, so i was afraid 1 drop would destroy the screen

    • Interesting
The clear is $1 the colours are $3.20

      • The clear one is the same generic type as in this deal (which I would not recommend). The one I bought is the Cafele one ($3.20), which is genuinely thin, does not have ugly edges near the nicely curved screen, and is flat and thin around the fingerprint sensor (but has a bevel around the camera lens to protect it). You need to buy the Cafele one. I have used mine for a month and it has no marks, fingerprints or smudges.

  • worst than no case.

  • When I had a Xiaomi Note 3, one of the biggest downfalls apart from the camera was the lack of choices for a decent case.

You are spoilt for choice with the S8, so many cases out there. Using an Otterbox Commuter personally. Can't understand people with flagship phones skimping on a decent case. Good protective case is much cheaper than a cracked screen.

    • I loved my Xiaomi Note 3, which had great performance and build quality. But yes, I did not realise how much better a camera could be until I got my S8 (which takes better photos in low-light than my Sony 18MP bridge camera). I also had major issues with bluetooth audio on my Note 3 (constant cut outs, pitch changes, etc.)

I don't understand why people spend all that money on a status symbol only to hide it in a large ugly box ;)

      • Would've kept using the Xiaomi if it weren't for the crappy camera, got the S8 for the camera, really don't give a sh!t what people think therefore the large ugly box ;)
