I'm looking to buy an Apple laptop - specifically from the Apple online store as I want a custom one with a UK keyboard - and this is only available from the Apple store online.
I recall years ago that Apple online had a black friday sale here in Australia - does anyone know if this is coming again, or another way to save some $$$ when buying from the Apple Store online? (beyond cashrewards)

In the past apple has discounted the GST (10%) but thats about it. Don't hold your breath for decent apple store savings. Better off finding an ebay all tech/Myer/Good Guys 20% sale.
Seriously discounting the GST or you mean just simply 10% off with still get GST on purchase?
10% off…. i recall it was marketed as a GST off sale or something like which meant 10% off everything but there was still GST…….. :P If that makes any sense.
I guess you could buy from the Apple Education store, but you would need to know someone with a university/school email/login. Think it's about 10% off RRP.
I recommmend not buying an apple laptop and getting a Dell XPS or somethin. Other than that, sorry i have no idea if, or will they will have a black friday sale.
