Anybody can sell… will they keep your solar system running and your electricity bills down?

e-Solar supplies only tier 1 solar panels and inverters from reputable manufacturers with proven record.

A Solar System is like a roof on your house… Once installed you're kind of stuck with it.

It takes 8 hours to install it properly by experienced professionals and much less for a shoddy hurried job with roof leaks when the rains come.

Might not always be the cheapest initially, but decisively in the long run. According to ASIC statistics, more than 500 solar companies have closed down since 2011 leaving many clients stranded and the industry reputation in tatters.

e-Solar has been involved exclusively in Solar and Renewable Energy for over 30 years.

Visit our Facebook page to see that we are up to.

Prices based on single phase meter, single storey home in Perth Metro area. For a limited time only.

  • So how does it work if the solar panels rating is above the inverters? Will it be limited to 5kw even if the PV are producing more?

    • +3

Yes. The advantage being that if you only had 5kw of panels, you would only be generating 5kw during ideal conditions. By having more panels, you are maximising how much time you will be generating the 5kw limit of the inverter.

    • Yes.

  • What's a good place to get good solar quotes?

  • +1

Anybody know of a decent solar company in South Australia? Perhaps someone they’ve used and been happy with? There’s a lot of mobs doing solar and I’m not sure who’s decent.

      Have a read at solarquotes.com.au

      • Ok will do :) Thanks

  • would rather pay 4980 and get 1000 giftcard as present
so that the house "finance minister" would allow some ozbargain sales (PS4 pro, Xbox X …)

(and if you buy giftcards in bulk, probably discounted? Win-Win)

  • I paid almost twice as much 2.5 years ago for sth very similar. But I saved a lot.

    • I’m tossing up two systems this size that are $6800 and $8700! Quality components and in Tas. Most expensive place (besides the NT) compared to the cheapest place - WA.

  • 20 x 280w Trina Panels

That totals 5.6kW just FYI, not 5.9kW

  • Serious question for the rep (in light of the number of Solar companies closing down): If you close down, are we still able to get warranty claim from the manufacturers of the components?

  • Actually the warranty it's always between the manufacturers and the client. That's also why we use only reputable brands for this very reason. All warranties issues with our clients are taken care by us 100‰…However just in case, clients should never be left alone to run around.

    • So presumably the "… more than 500 solar companies have closed down since 2011 leaving many clients stranded" is not strictly true, these clients could still claim the warranty from the manufacturer (they just need to do the running around & organise installation themselves)?

  • Yes and not. It depends on which products these companies chose to offer. There are brands we don't touch for this very reason. Most clients unfortunately don't have the inside knowledge acquired over years to make informed decisions. But yes if these clients have products which are still supported they can go direct. I guess what I'm saying is that we could save them the "experience" and hopefully we can offer them some peace of mind.
