Protect Kitchen wall paint from Oil stains

When I put something in hot oil, the oil sometimes spills on the kitchen wall.

I thought of putting a film on the wall, so that I can replace the film as and when I require.

But I could not locate something like this in KMart and Woolworths.

Please advise.

Thanks.

  • We have stainless steel splash backs behind our stove. You could probably fix a sheet there.

  • Do you not have some sort of splashback behind your stove? Ikea used to sell panels that you just glue onto your walls. I can't seem to find it on their website now. The closest I have found is this:

    Glad-wrap.

Not even kidding. It doesn't LOOK the best unless you do a perfect job, but cheap, easy to replace, does a bang-up job.

  • Daiso has film for this exact purpose, but you have to stick it to the back wall. $3.80 give it a ago
Cant seem to find it on the website, but this also works http://www.daisojapan.com/p-30426-aluminum-panel-for-kitchen…

  • try this -https://www.bunnings.com.au/australian-handyman-supplies-600-x-600-x-1-6mm-hot-rolled-mini-sheet_p0914974

  • You can also buy a wire mesh paddle (acts as type of cover/lid) for the fry pan or saucepan. Can be hard to clean if not done after each use. Goes in dishwasher though. Perhaps make an interim one to trial by using a metal coat hanger and a piece of tightly woven flyscreen.

  • +1

    aluminium foil + tape.
