Uncle Tobys Vita Brits 1kg $2.30 at Coles (~50% Discount)

230

Normally dislike singular grocery posts, but thought I would post this anyway —

  1. It doesn't appear to be a listed special in their catalogue and
  2. I unfortunately live on these things.

Last on special at Woolworths in Feb 2017 for $2.29 and at Coles in May 2017. Like most supermarket shenanigans these are $3 "on special" every second week at both. Coles regular sale price on website is inflated as they charge more online.

Darn it! just bought several at Woolies for $3 a box!

    If they gotta discount,
    I guess no one likes
    "sugar- & sweetener-free foods…?

I guess no one likes ..

The truth is everyone^ likes sweet (intrinsic or added) and no one is going to stop consuming sugar. That’s why it’s such a great dietary scapegoat for the health and food industry. For the latter more so, as it diverts attention from other major culprits - dairy and meat.

    • Never mind. You have no idea when these deals are going to be.

Good, didn't think it had been on half price special for awhile. I've bought a few at $3 but had to get one at full price recently due to stock issues at Woolworths.

Thanks for letting us know. I will stock up today in my Coles shop.

Thanks OP, I need to stock up.

I unfortunately live on these things.

Is that due to severe budget constraints? If so, rolled oats are a bit cheaper and healthier.
