I heard harvey norman is quite slow in fulfilling iphone Preorders.
I'm talking about outright, not optus plan.
If you've placed a preorder, could you please post when you received your order?
I preordered mine on the first day and was 15th in queue but comes Friday 3rd/11 - only 4 optus plan was fulfilled (all 64gb).
maybe it'll give people an idea if it's worth waiting or just go straight to apple.

advantage of going through harvey norman is you save a little by using amex/gift voucher.
but if it's going to take like 3 months, it's probably not worth waiting.

you need to keep checking it throughout the day, its just 1 click and youll be lucky, its an iphone x not a bottle of water.
it took me 3 days of checking the page to reserve one.

I've had same issue. They told me i was top of the queue but had nothing and paid in full. 2 weeks and 5 days now, and they can't even be courteous.
I sent a big ranting email to their website, and also a big post on FB tagging HN, and the city cross store, as well as today tonight.
I just want some answers!
I think it's out of their control Apple is just treating everyone so bad.
I called up gepps cross and they receive 1 256gb and i'm 2nd in the line.
luckily there is another 2 that left Sydney today heading to gepps x. i hope will be here early next week.
the guy said maybe end of next week. I haven't seen such slow post before.

Agreed. I used that same link last Saturday at 6am to reserve a phone and picked it up the same day.
I preordered an outright iPhone X 256GB yesterday using 5 Amex cards. I was told it could take up until mid-January for the order to be fulfilled. I'm happy to wait considering the $500 cash back.

I reckon so, the lot they received was only 5 phones.
I found out I was actually 2nd in queue for outright phone.
So in 2 months they managed to fulfil 6. LOL
Only reason I went with them was because I had $1200 gift card from a year ago.
This happened exactly with ip7.

@May23: i ordered on the day preorder opened i think oct 27th. received it dec 23rd.
Total of 57 days, so nearly 2 months.
Things should speed up I guess cause apple shop had high demand before and now it's not.
I ordered around the 15th of Nov, it is now 12th of Jan. Still haven't got my Iphone X.
