The shade cloth currently being included on Vuly website "free" (normally valued at $199 for large size) advertised for $1099.99 + delivery. Now with drainage holes.
From experience the shade covers are a waste of money and time. I had to replace the shade cover within a year and I am now looking at replacing the trampoline netting after 3 years.
If I was to buy again I would pay the extra $$ and buy a spring free trampoline. This guy jumps.
Does a spring free trampoline not have netting that would need to be replaced after 3 years?
I'm looking for a trampoline for our kids this Xmas, but concerned about sun damage as it would be in an area completely exposed to the sun. Don't really want to put a big sun shade over the whole thing. The ad says "500 test hours for resistance to UV rays." - at a conservative 5 hours of direct UV rays per day, that's not even 4 months' worth.
got my lift pro medium last september during 20%. includes shade cover, ladder, and delivery. easy 1 man setup/dismantle. i always remove the shade cover during windy days, im sure wind speed was not considered on their lab tests.
shade cover warranty only 3 months if included as free item.
Are they much better quality?
I just put together a Vuly lift pro medium and the quality is great. Took a while but great fun for the kids :).
Not sure why this is posted on eBay in 'Clothing, Shoes, Accessories > Women's Clothing > Other".
We have a classic-style Vuly trampoline. It's been great.
I don't like the hybrid design of this frame. It looks like a pain to try to mow the grass underneath this thing.
I haven't heard great things about the longevity of their fancy Thunder trampoline, and they don't offer a huge warranty on it either. I'd probably go for a Springfree if I was spending that much money.
We went from the Vuly Classic to the Vuly Lift.
Definitely a pain in the ar$e to mow.
The classic you could just drag around in order to mow properly.
You can't do the same with the Lift due to the 'post' legs, as they dig into the ground. Even the lower bar around the base is a pain in the ar$e.
With the Lift I have to fold the mower handles and mow while crawling underneath… LOL. Otherwise I use a hedge trimmer to chop down the weeds underneath.
Apart from that though… the Lift is great.
Just mulch or concrete underneath…. :)
How are you supposed to tip this on the side to be the electric wicketkeeper during the family backyard Ashes test match over Xmas?
Would anyone know if springfree trampolines have any offers on during the lead up to Xmas? They currently have 3m round for $1499 but hoping a 20% off deal might come around. The current 20% off eBay deals appear to add on 20% before it gets discounted.
I browsed through their FB page didnt see any sale notifications at all. . With the Vuly if you register you get spare parts at half price for life. I figured even if I have to replace a mat or net it still works out cheaper in the long run.
