Which Mobile Plan Is Cheap in Australia?

I lived in the Austraila from past 6 years ago and I have used Yomojo mobile connection from last 2 years. This mobile connection screws me a lot from past 2 years. No mobile coverage, bad internet speed this is what this connection has. If someone helps me out from this situation I feel very thankful to him.

  • I have Vaya and Amaysim and both are good.

Kogan is hard to beat lately.

    • I second this.
I paid ~ $180 for the whole year pre-paid (with own mobile) for unlimited calls + 6GB p/m with their 30% off special.
The only downside is that their customer service only works on weekdays.
I lost my mobile recently over the weekend and I had to wait until Monday morning to block the SIM.
      Cheers

Considering that Yomojo is on the Optus 4G Plus Network, coverage should not be as significant of a problem. Your phone may not support the frequencies Optus covers, so maybe check that first? Otherwise try switching to another network like Vodafone for a month or so with Kogan Mobile, they also have some nice deals for yearly pre-paid plans. Haven't had any network issues so far whilst being with Kogan Mobile for the last 6-7 months

Err. Checkout these collated deals — Mobile Phone Plans.

  • Amaysim, never had an issue with connections or using all my data.

  • Just try a $10 or $15 p/m prepaid of voda and telstra to see what works best, before looking for a longterm deal.
Optus sucked in my area on 3G for last few years. Never again. Vodafone 4Gis consistently fastest this year (Perth south).

  • It depends on if you need:

    • Limited Credit or Unlimited Calls.
    • 3G or 4G-LTE.
    • The amount of monthly Data.
    • Optus/Vodafone, or Telstra reception.

You're looking from anywhere between $10 - $80 per month, just on the cell service.
If you get it with a phone, you might be paying anywhere from $5 - $70 per month on top.
And if you get a phone outright, you will pay less overall ($200 - $1,800), but it means having to pay the phone outright instead of instalments.

…so a 24 month use and phone might cost you as little as $450 - $3,600. A good value point is around $950 over 2 years.
