Probably a very stupid question but I was wondering where would be the cheapest place to grab a copy of Halo Wars 2 on PC and games very similar to it?
Prefer physical, but open to suggestions

I loved the early Command and Conquer games. I actively own the Tiberium Wars one but apparently EB Games sells the collection? LOVE Age of Empires man! I have the complete edition for III at home. Wanted to try Halo Wars 2 though..
Don't remember a physical copy of Halo Wars 2 on PC : article online does say it was only in Europe
afaik you have to buy a digital copy/key of Halo Wars 2 and it should be "Play Anywhere" then you have to access to it on Xbox One or on the Windows 10 Microsoft Store for PC. Probably have to dig around for a reputable seller online though.
would it work vice versa though? buying a copy of Halo Wars 2 on Xbox One, would that allow me to play it on PC?
Only if you buy it digitally (just make sure you can find Win 10 or Play Anywhere on it)
that's what I did for Forza Horizon 3 and Resident Evil 7 using that $25 off $50 voucher which worked with gift cards luckily https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/266140, though I stupidly bought a physical copy of ReCore think it came with a $10 voucher for preorder though
Xbox One physical copy is only for the Xbox
Oh man there were some legendary RTS games over the years. The early Command and Conquer games were incredible, and I was always partial to Age Of Empires. Might not float your boat if you're looking for a Halo-skinned RTS though.
