Hi OP. What did HN say when you rang them or went in store to ask?

You might find that with Miele they will give you excuses about how they can't discount it because Miele sets the prices like Apple, Asko, Weber and some of those other companies that very rarely put things on sale. It's worth a try though.

FWIW I picked up a Miele C3 All Rounder for $315 at David Jones recently, Godfreys wanted $449 and wouldn't budge for those reasons above.
