I need a cheap tablet to run as a GPS. Currently I used Lenovo Tab 3 7" 16GB Tablet Black around $99 in officeworks. Is Tedlast 98 (Old Version) for $122 a better alternative to my old Lenovo? My Lenovo started to be funny after a recent sun bake in my car. I am looking for a android tablet for around $100 upto $150 and hope it could last at least 1 year or 2.
$100 - $150 Tablet - what to get?

Getting old, harder to read the screen from a distance - that is why the screen is getting bigger……..
Proper GPS might be a good way to go. The user interface on those devices is designed to be big and visible while it's mounted on the dash. Smartphone/tablet apps tend to assume you're holding the device quite close.
I've been looking for something similar but for photo editing. Check out the 3 day flash sale gearbest are having I picked this up for a decent price https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_602713.html?
Buy a 5" name brand gps for the same price…?
Panadol… or Ecstasy.
Lenovo is a personal favourite of mine both tablet an PC, but I have good experience with Asus as well, and I would recommend it
Any reviews on Xiaomi tablets?
xiaomi tablet normally don’t have gps. To be honest Xiaomi mobile products only worth what they cost.
Their mobile are much better value for money though. I am using Xiaomi Redmi 4X and it's no worse than any main brands phone which I have used in the past.
I don't have an answer to your question, however I have a suggestion…
Does it need to be a tablet?
There are loads of cheap smartphones around with gps that you could use for that purpose
