Hey all
I am thinking of finally investing on a pool cleaner. Can I please get some advice on a good cleaner?
I am interested in the pentair rebel. Is it worth it as I don't trust the other type.
The one that was with the pool when we moved in looks like a Hy-Clor Poseidon MK2

All I can say is DONT BUY A ZODIAC POOL CLEANER THEY ARE THE SPAWN OF SATAN
but seriously they make absolute dumpster trash products and the 2 I've had have been just awful >:(
Pentair rebel, hands down the best cleaner you can get.

Our place had a 'The Pool Cleaner II' when we moved in. Seems to work well, covers most of the pool (not steps). It does get stuck if it tries to suck up a long palm frond, but I'd be surprised if any coped with them. We don't get a lot of leaves in the pool so it's usually keeps going. It did start climbing the walls too much, so much it sucked air in making a horrible noise but a quick Google search led me to buy new tyres for it and it's good as gold again. I've also had to open it up once to get out something that was stuck inside it.
No idea if others are better, it's our first pool, and cleaner.
