I got an email from Qantas assure

You can get 1000 points for using their switching assistant to answer a survey and take their phone call and then receive the points.

1. Tell us about your needs
   To earn 1000 Qantas Points, start by ticking a few boxes that’ll help give an idea of what you want from your health insurance. It’s quick and easy. Then leave it to us.

2. Take the call
   A team member will ring you with some observations and opportunities you may not know about. There’s no obligation to buy and by talking you’ll earn 1000 Qantas Points.

3. Get the rewards
   Equipped with new information, you may decide to do the Switcheroo to more rewarding insurance and earn Qantas Points that you can put towards a holiday.

You do not have to take out the health insurance they offer

    Because it's 1000 points for jumping through a few hoops, worth about $7.50 - $10.

  This is old. I got a call from them about 3 months ago

  Just tell them you just resigned with your provider and they'll hang up on you and you still get the points

  I got this call but never got the points and couldn't be bothered arguing with someone about it.
