Alcatel Pixi 4.5 Replacement?

So my solder joint holding the SD card down has come away in my pixi. 11 months old. Anyone done a warranty job on these? and what's the equivalent replacement these days (this has all network bands) and apart from the camera has been really good.

  • It won't be difficult to find a phone better than the Pixi 4.5. That's pretty much a supermarket phone that sold for $29 at Woolworth's which I guess is where you got yours from.

For product replacements you just need a receipt and WW will refund it.

You can pick up a Sony Xperia XA $119 locally from Voda and it costs nothing to unlock.

    • Pixi 4.5 was exceptionally good value and far better than many phone.

  • Recently purchased the Alcatel POP4 5051x from Mobileciti via eBay using discount code for my father.

For an entry level phone it's pretty good and comes unlocked.

    • With no 850 Telstra and voda wouldn't work ?

      • 850Mhz is not the only band in use by Telstra or Vodafone; so yes it will work.

        • Sorry, im regional. I recon only data will work?

        • @tunzafun001: Are you using Telstra or Vodafone currently?

        • @CLoSeR: I'm a starter pack slut, haha. So need all band support. Pixi 4.5 does it well. So need an equivalent. No gyro on the Sonys which I need (I have an xperia, Pixi is a lot better). Definitely no 2100 Telstra here, so need 850. Cheers for the link.

  • So no other entry level phones with all Aussie network band support?
