Persona 5 PS4 - $43.99 Shipped - OzGameShop.com

780
SHIP

Hi, first time posting so apologies for anything I do incorrectly. Persona 5 is apparently an amazing game, I have it but it is currently in my back log as I have heard it is quite long and I haven't had the spare time to invest in it. I have purchased loads of games and blu rays from ozgameshop without any issues. I have had 2 games go missing in the post but they were resent to me. Shipping is usually 1 week to 10 days for me. Also with special offers like this you get 7.5% back in player points, so $3.30 worth.

Was just about to post this.
    Also Agents of Mayhem steelbook down to $28.99;

    Agents of Mayhem PS4
    Agents of Mayhem XB1

    • Can't bring myself around to thinking this game is worth playing, and I enjoyed every Saints Row though the series did drop off when the story got dumb.

  • +5

I want to play Persona 5 so darn much but its the only game on PS4 I would play (I dont own a ps4) so its hard to justify paying ~$500 to play this

Good deal though OP updoot to you

    • +3

I literally borrowed my brother's PS4 to play this game for 2.5 weeks and gave the console back afterwards.

Definitely worth it at this price!

    • +1

I'm basically in the same situation except I also want to play Nier Automata. There would probably also be a few other games which I would buy if I had a ps4 except I haven't done much research on it and nothing compares to how much I want to play the two forementioned games. fyi, I have a laptop and it can't run Nier.

      • +2

i am sure you can play nier automata on PC.

        • -insert another excuse here-

        • @Putnum: > fyi, I have a laptop and it can't run Nier.

excuse added after i replied lol.

        • @yummycoot: I don't think you can edit a comment after you have been replied to.
EDIT: so no, fyi my excuse was there before you replied.

      • +1

Sounds like what you need is a PS4.

    • +3

wait maybe another 6 months, quite a few more exclusives coming out. I don;t have a ps4 either, but the list is just growing and growing, I guess I'll have to cave eventually

    • ps3?

  • +9

It is available on PS3 too. A preowned PS3 is only $50 on Gumtree.

I used code SHIP to get for $43.99. Thanks for posting!

I spent about 5 minutes trying to replicate this before I realised, I think you are posting instructions for Catch of the Day. This deal is for OzGameShop who seem to sell neither any type of chocolate thin nor any dish washing tablets.

I have it but it is currently in my back log as I have heard it is quite long and I haven't had the spare time to invest in it.

That's what happens when games are long. People don't play them. Say they don't have time.

But when games are short they complain they're short and they're not getting their money's worth. Make it too long and they're not happy because they're getting too much for their money's worth. Too much of a good thing is even worse than not enough. When the game is short, at least people will play them.

The best is if everyone made medium length games. 20-40 hours tops.

    • +8

Different people complaining at both ends. When I was a teenager who couldn't afford every game, a 60-100hr game equalled 'value.' Now, it took me all year just to knock off P5, Horizon, and Zelda. I'd love more short, punchy, 10-20hr games.

      • haha, i know this feel

    • +1

I love 100 hour games. Divinity 2 I'm at 110 hours and still got quite a bit to finish I think

    • I'm happy with both long and short, my problem is I just keep buying too many games, I'm a sucker for sales. I currently have 46 games I've never played installed on my PS4, another 12 older/remastered games I had on PS3 and thought were worth getting again and haven't played on PS4 yet, and 13 physical disc games I haven't played. So I have been tending to play shorter games instead to try get through some. I really need to change my buying habits, cause they will always go on sale again. I got persona 5 when it was $58 cause I thought it was a good buy and still haven't played it. I think you are right about 20-40 hours being a good sweet spot.

      • I am in the exact same situation but I dropped everything and played this one. Should move this from your backlog. Entirely worth it if you love JRPGs, easily one of the best and orignal I have played. Probably my GOTY and I have played like 20 games this year.

        • Ok awesome, I'll have a crack at it on Sunday. Thing is, I've never played a persona game, and I wouldn't say I'm JRPG fan. Closest thing to a JRPG I loved is final fantasy 7 but I've heard nothing but good things about persona 5 and from what I have seen I think I will like it. I have recently been getting into a lot of anime series lately. I'm currently watching cowboy bebop which I really like. Got full metal alchemist: brotherhood to watch next which I'm told is really good and few others I've ordered.

        • @Shaun Prawn: If you've never played a Persona game, consider playing 4G first. Going backwards it will be hard to get used to. 4G is a great game in its own right, and if you like it, it might make you even more hype for 5. If you're going to end up playing both, I'd recommend 4 before 5.

  • And don't forget 3.5% cash back from cashrewards

  • Great price. I got this game from day 1. Amazing game!

  • This game is amazing. My first Persona game - bought it because of all the really high reviews. This is slightly cheaper than the price I bought it for. Highly recommend!

    • +5

      Try persona 4 golden

      • It's hard going backwards in this series.

        • +1

It's worth it for persona 4 golden.

If you don't have a vita, maybe get a pstv to play it.

        • +1

@TheGunslinger: I started with 4 Golden. It is one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. I'd put it at #2 challenging for #1.

But then I went and played 3 FES, and it was rough. Very difficult to adjust to.

Going from 5 to 4G won't be nearly as painful though. 4G has most of the essential refinements that 3 lacked. 5 Refines further for convenience, but there's not that much you can't live without. The only difficult thing to get used to is significantly downgraded graphics.

I also prefer Shuffle Time over negotiation, which is quicker and more fun.

I'd say if you love P5, give 4G a try. Don't play standard 4 though. And I wouldn't suggest 3 unless you really love the series. The game is good, but going backwards from 4G is hard.

  • +4

Stop wasting time reading this comment and buy this game. It's great.

  • +1

    Whoooaaa! Looking cool Shawn Prawn!

  • Loved it, spent a solid 3 or 4 weeks playing. Will play 4 next.

    • Make sure it's the Vita version. Just trust me. It's far better than the PS2 version in every way.

      • Yep I own that one, just haven't gotten round to it. Remote play on the big screen too.

        • +1

It's a great game and I totally recommend it, provided you don't hate JRPGs or anything Japanese.

I sat on that game for maybe 2 years myself. I regret not starting it sooner. The wait for 5 was agonizing.

But since you've played 5, you might be spoiled and it won't impress you as much.

  • Got one, thanks.

  • Thanks OP! Got one this morning!! :D

  • Thanks for posting, been eyeing this game for a while. Picked one up.

  • +1

    YOU'Ll NEVER SEE IT COMINGGGG

  • Good price.
