Hi guys,
I'm driving to Allianz Stadium this weekend for the rugby but I don't want to pay $25 to park in a parking lot. Can you recommend where I might be able to find cheaper parking that's also close to the stadium (i.e. within a 5-10 min walk)?

Use google street view and zoom in on street signs for parking conditions.
Whenever i go to the SCG i just park along oxford st outside centenial park and then just walk down moore park Rd It's free and untimed as long as you are outside the clearway sections/time and there is usually plenty of parking if you are happy to get there 30-40mins before the game starts (during swans games). Takes about 10minutes to walk to the stadium depending on how quick you walk.
If you park a bit further back there is a uturn bay in the median strip which will also mean quick and easy getaway depending on the direction you need to head in and not have to head back in towards the footy traffic.
Driver Avenue if you get in early enough. Lang Rd etc.
Any street near Bourke St/Crown St.
The street next to the easten distributor (left hand side as you face the map north)
I remember when I went to Footy games at Perth, I'd find the closest possible House with a driveway and knock on the door and offer them $10 to park my Car in their driveway for a couple of hours. It worked all the time.
I don't know much about the Stadium in Sydney or the surrounding areas, but maybe try that?
