[Android] Small Business Organizer App - $0.99 (Normally $2.49)

170

I'm a Brisbane app developer and have made a personal organizer app that provides a way to manage your daily to do list through categorizing your tasks by person. It's made for Android/Google phones (not iphones). And it's perfect for almost all small businesses that are on the go and need to jot stuff down into their phones/devices.

It’s like having a digital personal assistant to solve problems of organizing employees, customers, suppliers or subcontractors. Just write down those things on the phone as they come in, to keep your mind clear to do a better job on what you’re doing.

UPDATE: ALL CODES GONE NOW, NO MORE FREEBIES LEFT SINCE LAST NIGHT. I'll give it away free for first 40 requests, if you contact me with your email address, to [email protected] and I'll send you the free voucher code to get it from the Google Playstore. Please allow up to 24hrs for a response. Otherwise to get it immediately it's on sale for $0.99 , normally $2.49.

Please if there are any problems with the app , please tell me in comments here or email me [email protected] (or use the in-app send bug request feature from the ? icon). and I will get it resolved for you. There are over 14,000 different android devices and on some rare occasions it could crash, but I will have it fixed very quickly if that happens.

Why it's helpful?

  • An all in one app for Tasks/notes and your existing Calendar
  • Instant organization and categorization
  • Better customer satisfaction through efficiency and organization.
  • Never forget important things for jobs.
  • Works instantly no setup involved.
  • See just todays tasks with filter view

It gives you room to organize all those little things that are easy to forget. It's completely private, safe and no one else sees your tasks.

Check out http://personizer.net?ob for more info and to download now on your Android device (Samsung, Motorola, etc.).
Click the Google download button on top right of website.

Email me anytime to get help with features or tell me feedback, I would like to talk with anyone willing to use it.

thanks
Pete.

  • normally $2.49.

    When?

    • +3

      Recently it was $2.49.
      Dropped it to $0.99.

      • -2

I see no proof it was $2.49.

28th September, this app wasn't even around. (did you just turn that free app into a paid app? Why did it disappear?)

22nd October this app was $0.99

You've just decided that you don't actually want to offer the app for free to the first 40 people, instead deciding to qualify those prospective customers first.

        • Here is proof of $2.49 pricing
          https://imgur.com/a/n9TSc

        • No, I'm sending voucher codes to the first 40 people as I said I would.
And I'm sure some ppl will respond here to confirm that.

Someone at Ozbargain changed the heading from Small business organizer to just Personal Organizer so that just changed who will want the app from who the app is intended for. That confusion wasnt created by me.

The voucher codes will be delivered now, and I think you should retract those unsubstantiated allegations.

          @ThatSavingFeeling:

Thanks for the app code, I can confirm I received one and just installed the app! I plan to give it a work out and will do my best to report any issues found as well but so far the basics I've done seem to be working but more time is needed..

Wish you all the very best with your app and hope it's a success for you!

You never originally asked me for proof, but I have sent it now since you resorted to slander instead of asking for proof.

It's actually impossible to turn a free app into a paid app. Once an app is free it cannot be changed to paid.
"Once your app has been offered for Free, the app can't be changed to Paid. "

Yes and before that in october it was $2.49. I reduced price and planned to publish and promote app special couple weeks ago but was held up with website issues.

You've just decided that you don't actually want to offer the app for free to the >first 40 people, instead deciding to qualify those prospective customers first.

False and slanderous. When did I ever say that? Every person who contacted me has received their voucher code and is happy. Except for 1 neg from you.

          I deserve your neg removed.

    Google home intergration?:P
    Congrats on the App

    • Thanks.

Not as yet, would like to add voice integration at some stage if users want it.
The keyboard can use the mic feature to speak in a new task from the Add new task box.

  • Not free. Charging 0.99 cents

        I already did.

Would be difficult to know if your one of 40.

I would suggest you let users use it for free until you get several users giving good feedback about the apps.

Anyway, if it comes, it comes….

        • voucher sent

        • @ThatSavingFeeling:

          got it…

will play around and give feedback

Can the scheduling and task be seen or sync to another family member who also have the apps ?

        • @atlinus:

Nope its only for personal organization.

It could be a useful feature to share tasks in and out. Will see how the feedback goes for that request.

That would require the cloud based data storage first and then could bolt that feature on.

I'd like a copy, it's hard to find a good to-do list app. Email sent :)

    Nice one. Actually looks useful.

Is there a home screen widget?

I like the idea, but will wait for it to mature a bit. UI could use a bit of spit and polish but that's not really a criticism so much as me being impatient.

    • There's no screen widget.
The alarms come up in the notifications though.

Feel free to offer any UI suggestions , always open to that.

      • Alarms are good. But a widget would be handy to see whats coming up. Any plans on being able to sync between devices? (I spend equal time between phone & tablet).

        • +1

          There's a couple plans on this front;
          1. enable backup and export options (e.g. to CSV/Excel) - short term timeframe
          2. make it web enabled for multi device support. - medium to longer term plan

  • Just sent 22 codes out to each of those people who emailed me.
    Thanks for the supportive messages.

Please let me know any issues as we are working on the app everyday to improve it and learn from user feedback towards making it better.

  • Emailed you now too.

  • 32 codes been sent out to the emailers, 8 left.

  • Last 8 codes just sent out, lucky last was Larry.
    No more freebies fine folks.

    Still on sale for $0.99

    • Thanks OP in the right place at the right time. Looks good so far will give it a go over the next few days.

hope you make a million $…..
I'm working on my second million…..Gave up on the first.

      • hahaha.. that's the spirit, never give up!

lets all have a play around with it and post any suggestions or feedback here

I use business calendar 2.0 since it has widgets and I can add to it easily and make it my main phone display.

Will compare for a week and see how I go

    • That'd be good.

And it doesn't replace the existing calendar just works in with it, have tested it on Google and microsoft calendar. But let me know how if it works with Calendar 2.0.
Under the Edit task page , tap the Send to Calendar button at bottom and it will load up the devices default calendar and auto paste the task into a new entry. From there save the event, tap on back (once or twice), save the task, now Personizer knows about the calendar entry.

The tasks cal date is then visible under table view, and the calendar event can be quickly accessed from the Calendar icon now present on the main task view for that task.

  • Tip for dealing with Notes information and a Shopping list….

The way I use the app personally is for Todo tasks, shopping list, schedule upcoming events/appts. Every morning and sometimes night I run the app and spend a few minutes getting on top of things. Then throughout the day just stuff it with things that I can deal with later.

    I still use a dedicated Notes program for info that needs to be referred back to. Otherwise you end with bunch of tasks lurking around. Its good idea to clear out tasks and copy them into a dedicated notes app. E.g. I got list of physio exercises, so I put them into Personizer (categorized under my Physio's contact node), which also had the appt in the same node;

    Physio Contact
    -Appt time
-(while seeing him add in) my exercises (which contains bunch of text info in the notes section of the task).

I tick off the appt once that's done. Then it's moved to History tab but out of the active Main tasks page.
Then after a couple days of reading the exercises, copy the 'my exercises' long notes text into the other notes program, and mark it off as done aswell. So then it can be looked up in the separate Notes app but it's all done and dusted in Personizer.

With the shopping list, I make that as a task under General tasks, and it is always set to important (Star icon in the Task edit page) which means its always at the top of my list. And then just fill the notes section within the Task edit with my items. So this task stays on all the time.
Was thinking to add a checklist option in the notes section for these types of sub lists.
