Yeah, there are better places to ask. I teach basic Python, but I wouldn't consider myself an expert.
Hi, I am learning basic python too, not a very high level program. Didn't want to put it on stack overflow, as its a current uni project.
OK. Throw it up here if you want. No guarantees, though.

Oh I need a little help with Python project at uni. Should I ask a site packed with developers and hackers? Nah, better put it on a site with cheapskates and bargain hunters :)
I have ~17 years of Python experience, and a large portion of OzBargain & related infrastructure is developed in Python3. However I still think StackOverflow would be a better place to ask.
Btw isn't it already the last week of uni? :)
But plagiarism detectors are probably much less tuned to ozb than other sites.
If you put it on stack overflow remember to make a little mini program that showcases the error (if you just post part of a bigger project you'll get negged). And explain everything you tried and the result. I learned the hard way.
Still haven't asked the question…?
No, I do not want to risk it posting it here openly, But ta to everyone who replied.

Sounds like you're doing the wrong thing and you know it.
If you're struggling with course material why not ask either your lecturer or lab instructors for help? You're paying good money for education, you may as well get the most out of it.
There are also plenty of communities on Reddit (eg https://www.reddit.com/r/learnpython/ ) who would be willing to lead you in the right direction or validate existing code, but like basically every forum, they're not going to do your homework for you.
Good luck with it!
Have you tried stack overflow? I'd say you would get better responses over there.
