Thing is I could ultimately get 4 Colgate Toothbrushes for 5 cents more when Woolies / Coles put them 1/2 price. No deal, OP.

      • What makes this brush better than any other brush?

  • The problem is this bacteria can lead to illness, cavities and gum disease.

Proper brushing removes a lot of the bacteria, and most of it is on the tongue and inside the mouth anyway.

And there's no evidence a sterile brush prevents gum disease or cavities.

Thanks for your information! Your right, there is no evidence currently that a sterile brush prevents gum disease or cavities but having a toothbrush that eliminates 99% of the 100,000,000 bacteria that can be found on your toothbrush bristles is definitely worth it.

The other issue is toothbrushes touch each other in the bathroom. So when you hang this toothbrush up at night you are not transmitting bacteria between housemates/friend/family members. It also stops nasties from bathroom bench tops including bacteria from fecal matter which is found in bathrooms.

toothbrushes touch each other in the bathroom

        My toothbrushes aren't that naughty.

        • Haha I knew someone would comment on that part of it :)

        • @Andaroo22: I've seen toothbrushes entangling their bristles:O

Woolies has packs of two toothbrushes for $2

Then why are you not allowing to add more than one brush in a cart? Not a free deal at all, please update the title.

    • Only one per person, sorry!

Postage doesn’t cost anymore than $2 so we are practically paying for the brush….,

For $3.95 this better be a good toothbrush!! You can get actual good ones for $3 at Colesworth half price.

    Gum disease in your head,
    Who ya gonna call?

    • +3

Mouthwatchers - but there is a $3.95 call out fee😁

      • That's pretty cheap, I've paid far more than that for oral.

        • As you keep telling us😠
Hope you didn't spread / catch any of the nasty bacteria these brushes claim to rid us of😱

  • The toothbrush is one of a kind, eliminating 99% of bacteria on the brush within 6 hours

So if you brush twice a day, it will take you 12 hours ?

    • Yes I thinking so too. 2x6=12

    • Just leave the brush in your mouth, jv😀
Then you'll be protected 24 hours.
Of course no one will understand what you're saying😋

  • Negging because the description seems to be trying to reinvent the way we should be taking care of our teeth. This could cause people to develop expensive dental problems.

You can get a decent toothbrush from the supermarket for less, and nothing should replace a toothpaste with fluoride.

As Doctor Karl says - "You don't have to floss all of your teeth, just the ones that you want to keep".

Also the title and description are misleading. This is not free or a giveaway.

Hi WatchNerd, Thanks for you comment. Yes, flossing is extremely important for your dental health, I totally agree with you there. However, a coles toothbrush and a mouthwatchers toothbrush are very different. To answer the other thread users as well, it takes up to 6 hours from when you finish brushing your teeth to eliminate 99% of the bacteria on the bristles.

      • I never said anything about buying a coles toothbrush.

It's not clear that the science agrees with Dr. K here.
Everyone recommends flossing – but there's hardly any proof it works

So, all that's left are the 1% of really nasty, resistant bacteria that can really hurt you?

Hey Marlom, clinically it is 99.9%. It really is an amazing toothbrush!
