You have to understand some of these are 1L (12 yo) and others are 700 ml (15 yo)

I vote for the 105 cask strength - a GREAT drop!

My journey is different from yours. I've recently opened one Taiwanese Glenfarclas 105. The flavour is highland like, somewhat similar to Aberlour / front part of Johnnie Walker; being 60% abv, it was a little hot when drunk neat. Adding water (to 45% abv) dilutes the flavour and it tastes whisky, but not much from there. It has become my Cola mix whisky.

Why on earth would you dilute it to 45%? Add a few drops to take the edge off the heat and open up the aromatics a bit, but taking it all the way to 45% defeats the whole point of a cask strength whisky.

      • what a waste of coke

  • These are all their normal prices. Do you work for them?

    • are they always this good compared to DM? coz it's a fair bit cheaper.

      • +1

Yes they are. They direct import many items, passing on savings to customer.

        • Thanks. You aren't the only one who said this btw.

        • @mit: Well they've been around for a long time. lol.
