      People had put customer orders months in advance at the store; so as soon as stock came in it would be put on hold for the customer to come in and purchase it (store would call the customer). I suppose there was maybe 9 left that actually made it to the selling floor.

    Its funny how the stores don't tell the truth. Myer had 46 in the city 1 week ago. I purchased mine for $95. Can't believe how popular this set is!!

          Not sure how Myer's system works, but I was easily one of the first people to make a purchase given I'm the OP. And I have friends who ordered after me that had orders fulfilled.

          @sparkanum: Yeah mine got cancelled as well, even emailed them in the week and was told "oh its just process just be patient". No surprise Myer is having to close their stores and losing market share really.

      Yeah, I just ordered one too. The desktop site says 'out of stock', but the mobile site allowed me to place the order with ANNIVERSARY20.
      Hope they get sent - there haven't been any reports of cancelled orders.

    FYI all - toymate in Chatswood Chase apparently has some in stock. And they price match with brick and mortar stores in NSW. Another option emerges!

    I ordered last week, minutes after the deal was posted by OP. It was cancelled by Myer first thing Monday morning and when I called to ask why they said "we tried to source stock, but there was none available" … even though the order was placed well before some of the lucky ones above who reported receiving theirs within 48 hours of ordering!

    Anyhoo, seeing that others were posting that some days had fresh stock after 2pm-ish (EST, I'm in WA), I tried again … low and behold I placed another order (still using the discount code), less than 30-minutes after being told over the phone about the lack of stock. It's status was still "order submitted" on Myers order page this morning (2 days), and when I was about to call, an email came through with tracking information!

    All I can say is keep trying, one thing I did differently for the 2nd order was login via my old Myer account, the 1st order was checkout as guest. Logging in allowed me to see the status messages of the order and see if it was progressing. Good luck!

      Hearing nothing after ordering Monday afternoon, I was dreading a cancellation notice, but got surprised with an email at 6pm tonight saying my order shipped. Tracking info shows it is awaiting pickup from Altona North, VIC to be delivered to Sydney. I ordered as a guest.

    Made an account just to comment on what @porkchopsftw said.

    They cancelled my order about 5 days after putting it through (had to call them up to check). No less than 30 mins later I refreshed the page again in desperation and managed to get an order through.

    It's now on its way, according to tracking. Don't give up guys!

    Also I called up Toymate at Chatswood Chase and they said they had 16-20 in stock as of Wednesday afternoon.
