My auto updates are all turned off but my iPhone just updated itself, check your phones as they are updated even if you did not want to, I feel bad for older devices.

I have never had my iPhone update itself, but I've accidentally updated it by not reading and entering my passcode on the middle screen shown here
As per this post, you would’ve seen the screen , not read it and enterted your passcode.

thats why the term jailbreak came out for the iphone hack.basically you own apple you live in a jail. your choice.
First off you probably pressed "update later" which update the phone during the night, about 12-1am. Second Apple, unlike other softer tech companies dont push OS updates (ie your computer will update when you shut down[win]). Third OS updates are good, they come with newer and better security features and bug fixes.
The phone would only update automatically if you explicitly gave it permission to. Way to try to scare people!
In all honestly though this stupid post fits in perfectly with your post history.
